Open Office Hours with University Safety Police Department Command Staff

We are pleased to offer monthly open office hours with a Captain, Deputy Chief, or Chief of Police to enhance community engagement and transparency. These sessions provide a valuable opportunity for community members to connect directly with senior members of the University Police Department’s command staff.

Held at various locations throughout the month, these open office hours are designed to foster meaningful dialogue between the public and our leadership team. While we always encourage ongoing interactions with our on-duty officers, these dedicated sessions allow for more in-depth conversations and address any concerns or questions you may have.

Hartford Downtown/Law: 1st Thursday of the month, 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Atrium in the Times Building (Downtown Hartford Campus) in odd months, or at the café in the library at the Law School in even months.

Farmington: 2nd Tuesday of the month, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the cafeteria.

Storrs: 2nd Thursday of the month, 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Student Union Police Office.

Waterbury: 3rd Tuesday of the month, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Concourse of the main building.

Avery Point: 3rd Tuesday of the month, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Student Center.

Stamford: 4th Tuesday of the month, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Concourse of the main campus building.
