The members at the UConn Police Department are charged with ensuring a safe and secure environment that supports and enhances the educational mission of the university.

We are committed to the protection of life and property, and the prevention and detection of crime accomplished in partnership with the community by way of superior police services delivered with integrity and pride. We recognize that working collaboratively with our community is the most effective way to solve problems and enhance the quality of life for the people we serve. It is my pleasure to lead a customer service driven police department that continuously strives to discover and generate new ideas, methods, and processes to enhance safety, prevent crime and support a vibrant living and learning community.
